Our theater makes a great venue for birthday parties, church socials, business meetings, anniversary parties, fundraisers or most any occasion.

The theater is available any day or night of the week (closed Monday’s).

You can book any Tue, Wed, Thu or Sun if you want to watch one of our movies.

All we ask is a minimum of 10 people attend.

Come out and enjoy a night under the stars and watch a great movie with us.

Remember the good old days when there was at least 4 drive-in theaters in the Altoona area ?

Now you have to travel up to an hour to get to one. Why spend all that gas and time when you can come out to JJ’s Country Store and enjoy our drive-in.

Our theater is a family atmosphere. We show movies from the 1930’s to 1960’s (some may be older and some may be newer).

Most of our movies are family friendly, the way movies used to be made.

We have a large collection of drama’s, westerns, comedies, suspense, horror, thrillers, tv shows, cartoons, commercials and a lot more.

We show old drive-in ads, old commercials and a cartoon before each feature starts.

Admission is FREE, all we ask is you come into our store and buy some snacks, ice cream, food and drinks to help support us. Our prices are very reasonable, they are not outrageous like the regular theaters.

Bring a chair or blanket if you want to “sit outside” (we have about 12 resin chairs available, please let us know if you want to reserve one).

Text Box: Our Policies: Admission is FREE, all we ask is that you come into our store and buy some food, snacks and drinks. Our prices are very reasonable. If you do not want to buy food from us and help to support us you can purchase a one time food permit for $3.00 per person and bring your own food. The permits are only good for the night you are here. If you are caught you will be asked to purchase the permit or leave. We are a family friendly theater. Children must be with an adult at all times. No alcohol is permitted on our property. There is no smoking in the “Sit Outside” area. You may smoke in your car as long as it does not bother others. We are surrounded by neighboring properties, please respect their privacy and stay off their property, no loud talking or screaming. No fireworks of any kind are permitted, no laser pointers are permitted. The portable restroom is provided by Ken Wertz of Hollidaysburg, please keep it neat and clean for the next person. If you are in the drive-in area and want food please drive your car to the store for the purchase. It is very dark in that area. You may bring a flashlight if you want to walk to our store, be careful and watch your step. We are not responsible for accidents. The theater areas and store is private property, please respect our property and do not litter. There is no over night parking. We reserve the right to add to this list at any time without notice to our patrons. We reserve the right to inspect any vehicle for food that may be brought in. we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave for not following our policies. If you are asked to leave and do not you will be consider a trespasser. The store door is locked during the movies, if you need any food or drinks please ask me.
